Directory of Organizations
The Directory of Organizations is a resource provided by INFOAMBIENTE through which the different agents that operate in the field of environment in Uruguay can be identified. Organized in a systematic and updated way, it enables the user to learn about and search rapidly within the universe of bodies and individuals that make up this community, providing access to an increasingly vast and interdependent subject area.
It includes Government Bodies (the National Executive Power, the National Legislative Power, the Judicial Power, Autonomous Agencies, Autonomous Bodies, Decentralized Services, Departmental Governments, International Bodies accredited in Uruguay, non-state public corporations) and Non-Governmental Organizations with direct competence in environmental issues, as well as those whose activities concern the management of the country's natural resources, or which carry out socio-environmental activities in their respective scope of work.
In addition, it features an extensive directory of organizations from the Mercosur and around the world, which are of interest to national organizations because of their activities.
