Programs y Projects is a complement to the who's who? answered in the section Directory of Organizations. It tells us who does what in environmental issues in Uruguay.
Through this resource, INFOAMBIENTE provides information about different programs, projects, plans or initiatives and ideas that are carried out by the various environmental agents, both government or non-governmental. At the same time it has an access feature that provides fast search by name and/or key word.
Most of the country's environmental problems are repeated throughout many localities, cities or regions which share similar ecosystems or face the same risks of environmental destruction, deterioration or contamination.
By providing information on the programs and projects of the different entities, INFOAMBIENTE offers an important tool for the participation of potential interested parties, thus contributing in the search for common solutions to common problems, making the best of available resources.
